I am a qualified language teacher trained as a linguist and specialized in bilingualism, with over 10 years of experience in teaching groups and individuals alike.
I have extensive experience teaching Dutch as a foreign language to learners of various ages and levels. I have trained adult learners and professionals at the British Foreign Office, Imperial College London, and other higher education institutions. I have also taught children aged between 4 and 12 years at Dutch and international schools in London and the San Francisco Bay Area. I am currently a faculty member at the Dutch School Silicon Valley.
Beside teaching, I am an English-Dutch translator for global companies. I also have over 4 years of experience as a full-time advisor for school management and boards with the Dutch Independent School Association.

I teach a class of children aged between 7 and 12, at different grade levels. The lessons focus on Dutch language and culture.

I trained British diplomats who were about to be sent to the Netherlands. My job was to bring their level of Dutch from zero to high proficiency, allowing them to work and speak fluently in Dutch as part of their mission.

I was appointed by the humanities program of Imperial College London as a Dutch teacher and I was responsible for the Dutch Beginners evening program.

I taught a class of children aged between 5 and 8. This teaching program had to comply with official standards set by the Dutch government and undergo regular tests with the Dutch Inspection for the Education.
